Ceredigion is a principal area and former kingdom in mid-west Wales. In extent it is more or less identical to the historic county of Cardiganshire, and it was reconstituted as a county under that name in 1996, reverting to Ceredigion a day later.

Visit Wales - Ceredigion
Aberystwyth is the largest town in the county of Ceredigion but it still retains a friendly, community feel that many an individual has found draws them back again and again. For the holiday visitor, Aberystwyth offers a curious mix of unusual attractions such as an electric cliff railway, a Victorian camera obscura, the National Library of Wales and a sweeping promenade that sees much less rain than you may expect for Wales! http://wizz.to/wales/ceredigion/
